CARL HOPGOOD Since graduating from Goldsmiths in 1994 my work has been primarily been involved with the body and our existence in the world, with immortality and the ability to take every day moments of time and make them last forever. In creating filmatic worlds through sound and image I recreate a timeless surreal world that we cannot escape from. Voyerism and Heddonism meets Sadness and Guilt. I am particularly influenced by the work of Jack Pierson and Kennith Anger. |
